We are involved in the ongoing development of construction law in New Zealand, with Jared Holt currently a Council member of the Society of Construction Law (NZ).

Construction Contracts Act 2002

We are experienced in all key facets of the Construction Contracts Act, including the default payment claim/payment schedule regime, adjudication, and enforcement provisions.
Defective buildings

We are experienced in contractual and tortious claims in relation to defects and damage to buildings and other property.
Insolvency

We understand the particular pressures that can come with insolvencies in the construction sector. In addition to experience claims aspects, we aim to be proactive to try to help find ways to get projects that may be affected by a contractor insolvency back up and running.
Construction contract disputes
