Paul brings a wealth of experience to the team, having been a founding Partner at Isherwood Le Gros prior to their merging with Tavendale and Partners.
Paul practices mainly in the areas of commercial law, trusts and succession planning, and shareholder agreements, and is fortunate to work closely with a wide range of clients on personal and diverse matters. He has also built up significant expertise in Corporate Governance.
In addition to his legal career, Paul is a Director and Chair of a number of companies whose business span both national and international markets. Paul understands and appreciates the benefit that good governance can bring to successful businesses.
Paul has been privileged to act for and serve as a Director of the Nelson and New Zealand YMCA, as well as the YMCA international boards in Geneva and Hong Kong over a number of years.
Paul has a well-established international clientele with personal and business interests throughout Asia and North America. He enjoys working alongside his clients and their professional advisers on varied and complex matters, using the advantage of teamwork to guide clients successfully through their matters or transactions.
Paul is based in our Nelson office.
