JK leads our resource management and environmental law team, advising clients on a wide range of RMA related matters.
Originally from the West Coast, JK is known for her approachable yet professional manner and is particularly interested in farming and rural infrastructure projects.
She advises on a wide range of resource management matters, including consenting projects, compliance and enforcement, due diligence for farming and industrial transactions, and district and regional planning. JK has appeared before various Council hearing panels, and also in the Environment Court, District Court and High Court, and juniored in the Court of Appeal.
JK also assists our litigation team with various dispute resolution and court matters, with a particular interest in Judicial Review.
JK is based in our Christchurch and Ashburton offices.
