As Chief Executive Officer and head of our Leadership Team, Gemma is responsible for opening the doors to success for both our clients and our team here at TP.

As an experienced agribusiness and private client lawyer, Gemma is passionate about championing our clients and has a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges they face.

Gemma’s passion for people and positive change has resulted in a natural progression from practicing law into a leadership and management role within the firm, with her officially being appointed CEO at the start of 2022.

We pride ourselves on being a vibrant, modern law firm that does things a little differently and with her combination of experience, Gemma is well placed to lead our team as a business that breaks the traditional law firm model.

On a day-to-day basis, Gemma is responsible for building the TP brand, HR and recruitment, driving profitability, communicating with the Board, and managing our structure, business continuity and growth plans. Within this, Gemma’s priorities include fostering our unique workplace culture and growing the talent in our team, investing in the future and progression of every individual.

Gemma was the winner of the Future Leader Award at the Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA) Summit on the Gold Coast in September 2022. The award recognises outstanding leadership and management contributions to the legal industry across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific from the next generation of law firm leaders.

Gemma is based in Canterbury and works across all of our offices. Gemma is currently on parental leave.
